Infora Società Cooperativa

Infora S.C.a.R.L. is a software house specialized in the creation of advanced IT solutions.

The Infora cooperative was founded in 2011 with the aim of responding to the growing need of companies to access the most advanced technologies. Infora makes the skills acquired by its members over many years of activity in the field of IT research available, carried out within the most active groups of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of Cagliari, on topics such as Intelligence Artificial, Semantics, Computer Vision.

Initially configured as an Innovative Startup, over the course of over 12 years of experience in the field, Infora has continued to refine its technical skills, addressing the needs of companies and Public Administration in dozens of software development projects; among our clients we include top-level entities such as the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, the Ministry of the Interior, FIS Global, Accenture, EY, Unicredit, PWC.

Over time the company has also kept its interest and passion for the most advanced technological applications alive, participating in numerous industrial research projects, supporting mature companies in their digital transformation activities and helping startups in their initial activities.

Furthermore, by cultivating its experience in the University and in research and following its vocation, Infora has taken part in and supported several basic research projects over the years; among the entities with which Infora has collaborated and continues to collaborate we can mention the University of Cagliari, INAF - National Institute of Astrophysics, Porto Conte Ricerche, the Lawrence Technological University of Michigan.

The vast experience gained over time in project management for the development of software solutions led Infora to integrate, in 2019, an expert partner in the drafting and management of projects from an administrative as well as technical point of view. This step has further strengthened its capabilities to support other companies, allowing Infora to support its partners in the design, study and management of regional, national and European public financing programs.

Infora's objective is to propose and develop software solutions which, thanks to consolidated skills in the technological field and in the scientific and experimental domain, bring added value for the customer in the most innovative commercial and industrial market realities. This objective is pursued through a direct relationship based on constructive discussion, competence, availability and professionalism.
